Highgarden
The first time I laid eyes on Highgarden I knew she was going to be my horse, she had that something special that worked for me.
Here was this two-year-old with a super disposition, that was well-built and even with a torn tendon injury she had my “it factor”. The hardest thing was waiting for her to heal and be cleared for adoption.
When the day finally came to bring her home, I gave her time to adjust to her new surroundings and for the two of us getting to know each other.
She then began her training process, starting with a lot ground work. Her next phase of training was sending her to Taurie Banks of Kings Corning Training Stable’s for 6 weeks of basic training.
From the day, she came home she has done nothing but amazed me. She loves to work, has an amazing mind, is quick to learn and really enjoys going out on the trails.
This horse, every day, exceeds my expectations, and excites me about our future. She is as happy to see me as I am to see her.
I am so thankful to United Pegasus Foundation for giving me this awesome opportunity to spend my days with the horse of my dreams.
